What this does differently

Deterministic arithmetic

Money is stored as whole pence and rates as exact fractions. Compounding 5% over five years is exact, not approximately exact. No AI touches a financial calculation.

Results that reconcile

Department totals must add up to the plan total. Opening plus in minus out must equal closing. When a check fails, figures are shown as unverified rather than presented as fact.

History that stays put

Snapshots are immutable. Changing the engine never rewrites what a past calculation said — it records that the engine moved on.
